construction of vector fields with positive lyapunov exponents
in this thesis our aim is to construct vector field in r3 for which the corresponding one-dimensional maps have certain discontinuities. two kinds of vector fields are considered, the first the lorenz vector field, and the second originally introced here. the latter have chaotic behavior and motivate a class of one-parameter families of maps which have positive lyapunov exponents for an open in...
15 صفحه اولa comparison of teachers and supervisors, with respect to teacher efficacy and reflection
supervisors play an undeniable role in training teachers, before starting their professional experience by preparing them, at the initial years of their teaching by checking their work within the proper framework, and later on during their teaching by assessing their progress. but surprisingly, exploring their attributes, professional demands, and qualifications has remained a neglected theme i...
15 صفحه اولDecomposition of symplectic vector fields with respect to a fibration in lagrangian tori
Given a fibration of a symplectic manifold by lagrangian tori, we show that each symplectic vector field splits into two parts : the first is Hamiltonian and the second is symplectic and preserves the fibration. We then show an application of this result in the study of the regular deformations of completely integrable systems.
متن کاملLIFTING MODULES WITH RESPECT TO A PRERADICAL
Let $M$ be a right module over a ring $R$, $tau_M$ a preradical on $sigma[M]$, and$Ninsigma[M]$. In this note we show that if $N_1, N_2in sigma[M]$ are two$tau_M$-lifting modules such that $N_i$ is $N_j$-projective ($i,j=1,2$), then $N=N_1oplusN_2$ is $tau_M$-lifting. We investigate when homomorphic image of a $tau_M$-lifting moduleis $tau_M$-lifting.
متن کاملSubdifferential and Properties of Convex Functions with respect to Vector Fields
We study properties of functions convex with respect to a given family X of vector fields, a notion that appears natural in Carnot-Carathéodory metric spaces. We define a suitable subdifferential and show that a continuous function is X -convex if and only if such subdifferential is nonempty at every point. For vector fields of Carnot type we deduce from this property that a generalized Fenchel...
